1. Inspect your sump pump and discharge line to be working properly and free of obstacles

2. Be sure all  window wells,  drains,  storm sewers,  and catch basins  are free of leaves and other debris

3. Inspect all downs pouts to be free of debris and to be aimed away from the buildings and if needed extensions provided to be flowing downhill and away the buildings

4. If required by local ordinance inspect and replace  silt fabric in storm sewers
